About this session
A small-group latte art practice space for people who want to practise espresso workflow, milk steaming, and basic latte art in a relaxed environment.
This is not a formal barista lesson. It is a practice space where you can use an espresso machine, grinder, coffee beans, milk, and basic tools to practise by yourself.
The setup includes an Italian E61-style BFC Junior espresso machine and an Anfim grinder. The machine was recently inspected and serviced by Eastlink Espresso in Melbourne.
This session is best for people who already have a little experience using an espresso machine, or who have taken a barista course and want more practice time.
You can practise:
- Grinding coffee
- Dosing and tamping
- Pulling espresso shots
- Milk steaming
- Basic latte art pouring
- Cleaning the station after use
Included:
- Espresso machine use
- Grinder use
- Coffee beans
- Milk
- Milk jug
- Tamper
- Knock box
- Basic cups and tools
Please note:
- This is not a certified barista course.
- This is not a professional café training session.
- The machine is a single-group home/prosumer setup, so participants practise one at a time.
- Complete beginners are welcome to ask, but the guided barista lesson may be more suitable for first-timers.
Best for:
- People preparing for a café trial
- People who finished a barista course and want more practice
- People who want to practise latte art without buying a machine
- People who want to improve milk steaming and pouring confidence
Maximum 2 attendees per session. Duration: 90 minutes.
